Our Mission

Our mission is to make golf easier to learn, by offering skill-based training tools that allow golfers to improve regardless of whether they have access to a golf coach or not.

Our Story

Founded by Andrew Norman (a Product Designer, Research Engineer, and golfer), Divot Works was born out of a frustration with a lack of the right information when trying to learn golf.

Golfers are often left to figure things out on their own, which means that many don't make it to the point of being good enough to fully adopt the game.

Our Approach

Skill-First

We don’t believe in gimmicky swing fixes. We believe in structured, measurable, skill-based training that works.

Designed for Every Golfer

From beginners to low handicaps, our tools help you learn, practice and upskill your game.

Grounded in Research

Our training tools are built from Tour data, backed by sports science from top research institutes, and tested on real golfers.

Our Philosophy on Golf

You can be forgiven for thinking that the key to good golf is a beautiful golf swing. The golf industry and now golf YouTube has perpetuated this myth in order to sell you swing lessons and endless content that just keep you going round in circles.

But there is a quiet revolution sweeping over golf. It's not mainstream yet, but it's growing. It is being led by protagonists like Jon Sherman, Adam Young, Grant Garrison (Pure Impact Golf) and it's being reinforced by research from the likes of Sasho MacKenzie and other forward-thinking coaches and researchers.

Skill Unlock

The only thing that really matters in golf is that how you impact the ball. Yes, of course there are aspects to the swing that make good contact easier, but there are also many different ways to achieve it.

As athletes, if we focus on developing skills aimed at improving the impact factors, our bodies will self organise to achieve the best results in our own unique way.

TLDR: Golf is a game of skill, so start practicing like it.
